I’ve been looking forward to Lauren & David’s wedding ever since I drove 3 hours to shoot their engagement session at David’s Parents’ house on Tilghman Island, where we were treated to not only a gorgeous sunset, but a harvest moon to top it off. Not to mention how much fun we had trespassing on some private property in search of the perfect tree to use as a backdrop for some fun silhouette shots. Even though we didn’t get any sun, but rather a constant drizzle the entire day of the wedding, we managed to get some bridal party shots at both the Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol, all while being mobbed by roving gangs of tourists. With the wedding reception being held at the gorgeous Top of the Town in Arlington, we even got some dramatic rainy portraits of just Lauren & David out on the balcony at night.
This was just an all around awesome wedding and I’m thankful to Lauren & David for letting me be a part of it :)

Beautiful work, Leo. The rain shots are sooo beautiful, and I also really love the group shots here. My favorite (besides the rain portraits) might be the one of the couple kissing on the sidewalk while their friends look on. Very nice all around.
