Nina + Won | Washington DC Engagement

Last week, I met up with Terra Dawn to shoot Nina & Won’s engagement in and around the National Mall and Tidal Basin area of Washington, DC. We started out at the FDR Memorial at the Tidal Basin, then made our way over to the National Mall and the Smithsonian Institution, and finally over to the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. All in all, quite a day – probably the longest engagement session I’ve done – but we were all having too much fun to stop..

Here are my favorites (it was really hard to choose! They were all awesome :D )

Since we couldn’t actually get inside the Smithsonian Institution, we just hung out at the gates – I think it worked out okay :)

No trip to the National Mall is complete without a stopover at the Carousel :)

Or .. the red abstract sculpture is in the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden. I love that this is actually called “Are Years What?” by architect Mark di Suvero.

Of course no visit to DC is complete without at least one visible landmark in the photo – so here you go :)
