I’m so excited to finally post Megan & Dave’s awesome wedding! You might remember them from our fun hike/engagement session in/around Manassas Battlefield Park a couple of months ago, and now we’re back with part two :)

Megan and Dave got married at the Old Town Hall in Fairfax. Surrounded by their amazing friends and family, we all had an amazing time. Not only did we have Jenga as table centerpieces, Rubik’s Cubes at every table and videogames for everyone to play, but Megan, Dave, and their friends participated in a small game of Ultimate, and there’s really something awesome about Megan catching a Frisbee in her wedding dress :)

Of course, we couldn’t contain all the awesome in a single day, so Megan, Dave and I met up several days later to do a couple more portraits by the water in Old Town Alexandria, which you can see at the end of the post.

Kara, Chuck, their awesome dog Samson and I met up before dawn to shoot their engagement at the Tidal Basin a couple of weeks ago, both so we could find that beautiful morning light, and so we could avoid the Cherry Blossom admiring masses that descended on the area every day during the Cherry Blossom festival.

I think we did good :)
