Kara, Chuck, their awesome dog Samson and I met up before dawn to shoot their engagement at the Tidal Basin a couple of weeks ago, both so we could find that beautiful morning light, and so we could avoid the Cherry Blossom admiring masses that descended on the area every day during the Cherry Blossom festival.

I think we did good :)

Rod, Chris and I met up at their apartment, they grabbed the tandem bike they use to commute to work (which is the best thing ever) and headed off to make some awesome photos. Here’s the result :)

Can’t wait to shoot their wedding in just under a month!
